Who Are We?

    It's always interesting to know something about the people you are dealing with when it comes to folks recording or videotaping an event of yours.

   My name is Jim Harris.  I first got into the recording business years ago when I recorded my High School band in a spring concert in 1974.  Ever since then, I have been fascinated by what can be done with microphones, recorders, and cameras.
   
   In connection with my audio recording, people also began contacting me to videotape such things as civic plays, outdoor community concerts, ...and then weddings.  

I find videotaping weddings to be a tremendously satisfying project.  It is a joy to have a hand in the special event that has been so specially planned and dreamed about.  The artistic process of editing the video, setting up the scenes, visiting with the people at the reception...all of it is truly a wondeful adventure to me.  Often, as I am viewing the finished "Slow Motion Events of the Day" clip, the music and the special video shots cause me to choke up with emotion...even though my own wedding was over thirty years ago!  It is a wonderful feeling to be a part of someone's special day.

I am a native Texan from the Littlefield area.  I hold several degrees (AA - Bakersfield College, BS - Abilene Christian University, MS - Abilene Christian University, DDiv - Masters School of Divinity), and I am a fulltime minister with the Stringtown Road Church of Christ in Medina.
