Videotaping and Recording Equipment

We use all-professional three-chip digital video cameras (Sony DVX2100 three-chip professional digital cameras, steady-shot, miniDV format, 1-lux low light performance)
Audio is recorded from multiple condenser microphones (with two wireless mics) into a digital audio recorder (Sony DAT recorder or 24 track recorder for larger events)
Digital video editing software includes Sony Vegas and Sony DVD Architect.  
Digital audio editing includes ProTools, Samplitude 2496, and Sony SoundForge.
Digital audio equipment includes Alesis ADAT 24-track recorder, Sony DAT recorder, and PreSonus mic preamps.  
Microphones include Neumann KM184, Audio-Technica Pro7, Avenson, and various Shure and Audio-Technica microphones - both wired and wireless.  
5.1 Surround Sound is available on higher-end audio recordings and concerts.

Part of the fee charged for each wedding goes into upgrading and maintaining the long list of video and audio editing software and equipment needed for quality wedding videography.
